Came across this wheat penny when going through an old hoard. Regardless of rarity I think its pretty cool. IMG_0690.JPG IMG_0691.JPG IMG_0692.JPG IMG_0693.JPG IMG_0694.JPG IMG_0695.JPG IMG_0700.JPG IMG_0701.JPG IMG_0703.JPG

Very cool! 90~100 deg. Rotation too.

PMD - Post Mint Damage, Sorry but that is not a die clash. It's called a vise job cent. Somebody sandwiched that Cent in between to other cents on a vise and crushed them together to leave the imprints. That is why you see the images in reverse. Here is an example -

Ditto! It's always a giveaway when you see the letters imprinted backwards.

Here is a Wheat Cent Overlay that is used to determine a true Die Clash.

Boy my eyes are playing tricks on me this morning. Both those pictures look to be in relief. I need to go back to bed.

I have to pose this question on the op's coin as I almost agree (vise job)
but my question is on the 1973 coin where the letters are on the rim and in the fields.......the rim is also flattened and all letters are present.
BUT on the op's coin all letters "in god we trust" are present but the rim is not flattened is there a reason for this??
especially in the area of "in god".
