Ho, Ho, Ho, I've got a three coin package; 1811, 1817, and an 1825 CBHs down at the post office which I've got to pick up this AM. Heading out now as it's an 1/2 hour drive or so.

    Sounds great! :thumb:

I was just thinking about that Postal commercial where the box on the counter is talking and waiting to be picked up. :D

Chuckle, walking out the office door now. I'll be talking to the Postaal Route Director. We were at the house and the delivery woman just left the "not available for delivery slip" in the mailbox. Never came down the driveway to see if we were even home, we all were and even having a party, LOL...

Post the pics when you get home.

    I'm in the market for a good deal on a 1899-P Morgan /MS-64to MS-65

But may have to put new roof on house (house only 16 years old) so may have to wait.

    Bonedigger,

I know what you're talking about. Our postal carrier never comes into the driveway and blows the horn or anything. We always get the the little slip too, and have to drive to the PO the next day to pick up packages. Nice service!

And, back with the hardware as follows - 1811, O-111; 1817, O-103; and an 1825, O-102 all in VFish 20-30 condition. These are relatively common attributions and were priced as such.

Nice coins....are you collecting them by date and mintmark or something ? Otherwise I would get one nice high grade coin (meaning a Britsih EF...,about AU-50)

I like the 1817 the best and the 1825 is close second:cool:

Three great coins. Once a coin is more than 150 years old, a cleaning doesn't seem as important anymore [at least to me].

Your a funny man :) a very funny fellow. The rest are amusing, but you, "You're Funny." :D :D :D :D

For Jerome, I collect these coins by variety, and there are a LOT of varieties, over 450 different! I needed each one of these, fortunately none were duplicates.

Many, of the ones in my collection, have been cleaned at some point. Sadly, it's a necessary evil as my goal is to get them as cheaply as possible. Under $100 each.

Thanks Steve for your comments and time for taking a look. As far as the Post goes, there is an old saying over here about 'You can't fight City Hall...' and the Post Office as far as that goes as well.
