Which 1885o Morgan dollar is better and should be used as the 1885o Morgan dollar in my Morgan dollar set. I'm keeping both of them, I just want to know which is better for the set. Also, Which 1885o would be more valuable and grade higher if I sent it in (Yes, I'm thinking about sending one in)??

I have the very lustrous one I got yesterday, the problem is there are quite a few contact marks.

Now you got the other 1885o Morgan. Very nice luster but less frosted reflective as the other one. Not nearly as many contact marks either.

I like the "18850" better due to the nicks on the other coins obverse and big nick on the reverse. Probably would grade a point higher too.

which 1885, the top on or bottom. I think you mean the bottom though. What will the bottom grade?

The one that has "18850" written on the holder. (bottom one)
The bottom one probably won't get a 65 but is a pretty good 64

I vote for the "black ink" 85-O. I would take a guess and say a 64 for the grade on that coin.

I'll choose one of the 7 obverses and one of the 3 reverses.
