    I understand..anyhow...I was kind of playing. I KNOW that this is a masculine world "stereo-typically speaking"; to tell you the truth most of my friends are of the HE gender and they think of me as one of the guys. All is glorious ;}

    Thank you!, it is an Iolite crystal, which is interesting because it has 3 different colors depending on direction. Unfortunately the beautiful blue usually is the thin side, so large faceted gems are not common. Here is a photo of 3 spessartite garnet stones I cut in temporary ring holders :)

    Wow, you cut stones...fascinating. I would love to know how to do that. I am kind of a rock hound also thanks to my father he used to collect rocks and bottles from old ranches.
    Those stones are such a vibrant color. Spessarite is it a newer stone. They do not look like any garnet I have seen.It used to be garnet was garnet, and normally pretty darkLovely. May I ask if it is your job or hobby?

    These are two of my favorite rough color crystals that have me. Oh I guess I should say three as the base is a clear cluster that happened to find me.

    I also have a copper dime its a 2000 D it seems to be smaller then a standard dime
    when i set it on top of another dime it seems to fit inside the ring ,it is thinner also.
    There is a hint of silver coloring in it ,and very easy to read ,and for some reason the head looks smaller .
    ill post some pics as soon as my phone charges
