It will save me a LOT of time if I can use some coin images I already have to make listings on eBay. I would ONLY use this sort of image for inexpensive coins (less than $10). Here's one that I would describe as XF:
I think those are better than at least half the coin photos I see on eBay, so if it saves you time, I think it's good. Now, if you have nicer coins, or more expensive coins, I might not use this method as it looks like a scan (no luster.)
Thanks for all the replies. It's going to save me a lot of imaging and editing. And, yes, it's a scan. For my better coins I'll use my camera and each side will be 2x-3x larger than the one I posted here.
I have seen some where the quality only shows a geometric shape that appears to be round. You are miles ahead with your photo.
