63 on the left coin and 64 on the right coin. Very nice walking liberties, I though they were early silver eagles at first.

Thanks for your opinions! I think with the right pics the one on the left can be a 65

It seems like it could be too if the luster is there and there are not any contact marks that are hidden by the lighting. I would need other photos in different lighting to tell for sure.

I keep on telling myself the '42 walker I own is just weak strike, I find it hard to accept there is wear on mine due to such great luster, sometimes I think need to accept the obvious fact that the '42 I own is AU-55 or AU58 :(

Oh well, It still look great in my set :)

I think your halves could grade pretty nice.

One certain way to tell AU from MS IMO is the head. A full head is a good way to tell if the coin is unc. I've used that method in purchasing my walking halves and haven't been disappointed much.

Is the one on the left a DDR by any chance?

65 on the left but on the fence of 62/63 on the right. I have learned to look for the wear on Liberty's left hand and whether the stripes of the flag are complete and visible on the leg. if those two are good look at her face and whether the stars on the flag are clear.

I tend to grade backwards of most in that all start at the top of the chart then I deduct for the details that should/shouldn't be there. For coins of a higher grade this seems easier than starting at the bottom of the chart and working my way up.

They both look like gems to these old baby blues. There are DDs in this series, you might want to see how they check out on those.

I think the one on the left is DDR. The upper portion of the wing is completely different than the right.

Not sure, photo one looks like DDR, photo two looks like MD. I wish someone else could help here.

Coin 1 is diff than coin 2. Coin 1 is the coin on the left up top

Sorry for my ignorance on that. Now I see why coin two did not look like DDR!

Not a problem. I'm going to get the cherrypickers guide in a week or 2. That should help me better understand die varieties and such
