which microscope are you using

 

Just a $18 one i found on ebaycalled "50x-500X 2MP 8LED Light USB Endoscope Video Camera Digital Microscope Magnifier" I added more pics of the coin as well. .

 

its not the best unit, but it does the trick.

 

I'm thinking about getting one like that. I have been using a 30x that attaches to your phone for a few weeks There $10 and below

 

I will never be satisfied with my photos, its a never ending quest. However, I refuse to pay big buck also lol. Those are good photos, i get the same holding my 16x loop up to my phone.

(Ok dumb question) How do you guys get a microscope to take pictures? I'd love to be able to take pictures as good as that, any help would be appreciated.

 

I bought a usb microscope (ebay link above) for $18. Its not the best, but a whole lot better then what i had before.

 

Hmmm.... Interesting. How does it fully work and can it be used with any digital camera? The end results do look good though.

 

it works all by itself, i just plugged it into pc, and snap away. I do have to convert photos from bmp to get them to load on here.

Here is the Microscope Camera that I just bought off Ebay. This works great. I love the ability to adjust the focal length for larger coins, there may be a problem if the focal length is fixed?
