This coins seems a bit busy in a good way. There appears to be an overstrike on the surface of the 7, along with a hint of a die clash just under the forehead. On the reverse, not sure if I'm seeing very sharp strike, or a subtle doubling on the arrows. I welcome input. Thanks for your time.
I think that's just the top of the 7. The top of the 7 isn't squared off but is curved like that. Don't know why it's lighter in color.
The top of the 7 looks like a little physical contact, and the denticles 4-7 also shows up near the IC and there seems to be a rim disturbance near each, so maybe all are from something dinging it? Great photos , but still hard to see depth as in hand.
Yup, all kinda busy, nothing to hang my hat on. Nothing earth shattering. Pretty solid AU range coin from what I gather from the on-line pic. We'll see when she gets home.
Nice solid AU coin! The shape on the 7 is generally correct...it may have just taken a soft hit that 'underlines' the curve and makes it look separate. It's hard to tell from pics if the mark in the denticles is raised (ie a mark on the die) or part of that small rim ding under the 7.
Here's a 7 I love and guess what???? it's on the cover of the Cherry Pickers guide .....but not in the book!
