I came across this coin from a friend selling his aunts collection. I can verify it on the NGC website and have found alot of information on it ,but still can't come up with a fair value on it. Any help on its current value would be awesome. tempFileForShare.jpg

Its one of the most common Parthian Tets. The slab doesn't help on value any, as most of us ancient collectors detest them, and actively destroy as many as we can.

Since its not listed, I am assuming the month is off the flan on the reverse. Just from the obverse photo I am seeing a aVF coin, worth around $100 in my view. With better pics and a pic of the reverse I might be able to give you a better estimate. Most people who want to buy this coin will be non-ancient collectors since they will value the slab. Maybe you could get $150 from a non-ancient collector so he could have an ancient in his collection.

    Thanks medoraman
I will post a pick of the reverse later so you can check it out.
They were hoping for a 400 dollar price (how they came up with that I have no clue) for it but I told them I had no clue as to its value. Neat looking piece but I don't collect or study ancient and world coins.

Bust it out of that slab! Hold that history in your hand.
