You sure have the knack for finding beautiful toners. Are the LCS finds or auctions? Your pictures are awesome as always I can only imagine how much nicer they are in hand.

Picked this up at auction yesterday. Reverse is blast white. Tilted the slab a little for the closeup so the colors showed up better.

I picked up this MS 1955 S Roosevelt Dime yesterday at the coin show. Not many dealers showed up as we had an ice storm . However I managed to find this nice toned dime. 1955 S rev..jpg 1955 S obv..jpg

Just won this at auction. Overpaid but couldn't resist. Hopefully it looks as good in hand. 25059759_28790250_2200.jpg

there are a couple CT members here that sell very nice toners. sometimes you can even ask a lower price if you are a frequent buyer. all depends on the coin being bought.

Why do you think you overpaid? Toned coins carry premiums over established price guides. Often times, the toning premium is many multiples of the price guide. I like the toning on your coin; I just wish the coin had full bands.

Lehigh - The coin has full bands according to PCGS ;) Graded as MS68FB. You can see 'em a bit better below, though the reflection slightly obscures it. Won't know for sure how clear they are until I see the coin in hand. Paid 25% over PCGS list price for MS68FB, which would be about 400% of PCGS list for MS68.

That is great. It won't matter much if the bands are borderline. As long as PCGS says they are full bands, it will bring a FB price if and when you sell it. When you get into the MS68-69 range, it is really hard to judge if you overpaid or not because the populations and marketplace availability are so small.
