Has anyone here ever returned a coin or coins back to the Mint? Any idea how long it takes them to process a return? Thanks.

They were pretty quick when I returned my 20th anniversary sets to get a replacement box....

Over all the years I have gotten excellent coins and service from the Mint.
    must be lucky

I also would go to the Mint store in Philly and buy across the counter, they would let you look at the coins before buying and many times I cherry picked the better sets or coins. The mint store is a hassle now since 911 got to go
Through security and there inventory seems down.

I just got an email stating they received my return, thankfully.

If you return coins be sure to call when the transaction is done and tell them how much postage you paid. They will refund that $

I would have to actually buy stuff directly from the Mint. Having heard so many horror stories, I go through a dealer. For coins in the year of issue, I rarely pay more than a small percentage over the dealer's cost.
