There is no way that a coin would somehow have two different mint marks without it being PSD. Can I get everyone's expert opinions regarding die cut (correct?) that looks like an S mint mark at 2 o'clock position. Thanks!

Is it raised (slightly) or is it recessed? It could be a dropped element.......like an upside down "S" from TRUST.

sorry about the bad pic but I cant get my camera to focus any better at that magnification level. To answer your question, it's the former--what looks like an "S" is slightly raised.

If it's raised, then I will go with the dropped element.

    It is Post Strike Damage.

A dropped letter would be incuse not raised.

so it's just coincidence that the PMD just happens to look like an "S". Thanks for your expert feedback!
