SBA roll

    I found these in a roll.Picture # 1 ? Is this a near date? Picture# 2 ? 1 Rim is wider than the other.But date"s are no closer to the rim!Whats going on there?THE S one"s look like rpm so they type 1.Right?ALSO are there any rpm"s listed for these? Image288.jpg Image285.jpg

    The coin in the first picture is a wide rim (near date).
    Both coins in the second picture are narrow rims (far date).
    The coin in the third picture is a narrow rim (far date). Can't tell anything about the mint mark - terrible pictures.

    1 is a near date (or wide rim)
    2 are both far date (or narrow rim) but looks like a bit misaligned (or perhaps even a tad off-center)
    3 I don't see any RPMs or Doubled Dies for '79 SBA's, but for proof coins, there are different mintmarks, you can see here: http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/page29.html

    Thanks for the reply;s .&the link great read.always willing 2 learn.I only posted these because i told tommy'c that i got 1 roll from my bank and it had 2 wide rims & three S dollars! ONCE AGAIN TYVM ALL
