What do you think of my new Barber Quarter?

  1. I just picked up this 1916D Barber quarter in AU conditon for $85. Im happy with it.[​IMG]

  4. I saw one much nicer, a MS67 in a slab, but that one was $4K so I settled for this.

  9. epay. I was browsing auctions ending soon and I noticed no one had bid so I placed a bid at the last few seconds and won.

  11. I was a little undecided to buy it until I saw that true uncirculated of the same coin were $400 and up and then $85 seemed very reasonable for decent AU.

    You can have a very nice collection in AU of these for a fraction of BU cost. Nice find, good price.
     
  13. since I collect type coins, I only need one Barber Quarter. This one is suffice. But I will be looking for the Barber Half and dime shortly as well.

    I'd say you did very well. It's a $100-120 coin on most days.
