198 something cud?

    Yes, it's a large cud. Very cool find from CRHing. Hopefully someone else can ID the specifics.

    One quick way to ID a cud versus a fold over lamination, or other issues, is the lack of strike detail on the reverse of the coin where the cud is formed. The die has broken away, so neither obverse or reverse dies provide enough pressure to impart the full design. You can see this clearly on the reverse between STATES and AMERICA
