Here is another fibula: 49 mm. They are pretty common. Usually the pin is broken (and replaced for aesthetics, as with this one).
Hi TIF, You were right about not seeing a fibula, at my denarius, although we do not know for sure, fibulae were not be on left shoulder. I have the coin in hand and with fantasy it looks like a fibulae. Whisfull thinking here i guess . All the best, Eric
