I picked both of these up this week for the SBA proof it has a very nice tone on it. Does anyone have any history about these two sets and what are they worth.
I don't have a clue, but those are very cool. I especially like the eliasberg set. Keep me in mind if you ever want to part with it.
This brings up the old "what's in a name?" debate. Basically you have your standard proof sets, but with fancy packaging and fancy names on them. Anyone that pays more than a regular proof set goes for is not collecting coins, they are collecting autographs.
I really like the Gasparro "first year of issue" set while I see nothing special about the 1968 Eliasberg set.
