If its not listed then its no good... sorry.... u lose... ejection, machine or strike doubling... womp womp womp wooooooomp
I think it's md, but just because somethings not listed doesn't mean it can't be a new discovery. New rpms on older coins are found all the time.
No CZ because you're not a" YN" teenager whom he can bully over posting pictures and asking questions . Like he did to the young lady last week. Whom BTW has not posted since...... and that's a shame! Must of been one heck of a power Rush to pick on someone whom came here to learn! WTG ..... nice way to promote numismatics!
Alan, if it is a 90's or later, it can't be an RPM because the mintmark was incorporated into the hub. Maybe that's something Paddy wouldn't want to know because he doesn't like criticism. Perhaps someone can find a way to drop that tidbit of info on him gently so he won't cry. Chris
Thanks for sharing this with us Chris, I did not know the mint mark was incorporated into the hub in the 90's. It's not a 90's coin it's mid 80's, and to my knowledge unlisted. I think this thread can be a learning experience for all of us, if we choose to open our minds. We all make mistakes, how we fix them defines us.
To be honest, Alan, I was hoping you'd let me off the hook by saying it was a 90's coin because I really don't know if it is an RPM or MD. The only part of this mintmark that would strike me odd if it actually is an RPM is the lower left foot of the "D" because the offset is different. I'm leaning toward machine doubling because of this. Chris
MD. Again, be sure you are just criticizing or evaluating the coin and not the people presenting or responding.
You know Chris to say I don't like you would be a gross understatement . As I don't like broccoli or,Brussels sprouts as they seem to me to be very distasteful . However what I find even more distasteful is a person whom is arrogant, pompous and sarcastic to the members here . And it doesn't end here as I have had members here as well in another forum pm me over your arrogant behavior . It's very easy to sit behind a computer screen and belittle ,and put down other members. That seems to be the consensus of those whom have approached me over this matter. May I suggest if reading a post bores you or that a YN post pictures are not to your liking you simply ignore the thread or post. The young numismatists and newbies whom come here excited about learning need not be criticized . They come here excited to share and learn ,not to be put down and chastised . I myself ....as I'm sure most members here would rather a teenager "eager to learn" come here and post something then be involved in something that could end up being a major mistake in their lives. The young lady whom" You" blew out of the water to my knowledge has not returned since her last post. Bullying is not the reason we come here. It a very in mature act and should not be tolerated here or elsewhere. As far as criticism goes hit me with your best shot. As I grew up in South Baltimore and learned at a very early age how to deal with bullies. My sincere apologies to the outstanding members here as well to the original poster for high jacking this thread. But I will not allow people willing to learn or share their enthusiasm in numismatics be subject to being bullied. To the YN ' S and newbies here please know that there are no dumb questions just dumb people. Please feel free anytime to PM me any questions I can help you with. If I Don't know the answer we can research it and learn together. Paddy
Paddy , that is a great sentiment, However watch what ever action you might make other than reporting it and letting the moderators handle it. Often , very often, someones remarks are such that they are dinged, even though they did so in what they considered a defense of someone. "He started it", is no excuse for one to also be a violator. Thanks, Jim
Jim I truly appreciate your advise. I don't come here to police the forum. I come here to enjoy this hobby, and share with others without abuse . Regards Paddy
Posts deleted and dinged. Evidently, neither grasped what I said in #31. Both of you need to make an attitude adjustment.
Paddy, you have made your dislike for me a vendetta even though there are plenty of others who have expressed their constructive criticism in much the same way I have. Personally, I don't care what part of Baltimore you're from. You're the one doing the bragging. Chris
Chris, drop it. Any more signs of 'vendetta' , just report them. This goes for all. This is not a 'Social' network where we sling things at each other, even though we have the 'like' button, it is cointalk! Stay on coins. Anyone's coin can be dissed, but no members should. Lets try to keep this thread open and everyone still a member. Jim
We had two choices. We don't need anything thing more than that. If your bored just don't answer. That's my2c
