I'm posting this to see if my call is correct...not a die crack, but lamination peeling? NO die cracks anywhere else, or, peeling either..just in TED-ST Thanks Calvin
From the images posted , that are out of focus I say it's a crack. As lamination the medal is flaking off. Maybe some better images would tell.
the 3rd pic is in focus..you can see where the metal is raised up off the coin a bit. Maybe the pressure of the striking just nailed a weak spot on the planchet.
