I have 4 1969 D Penny's that have red tint to different parts of the coins does anybody know if this is a error or what it could be.
Post some pics so we can help you out!! If you don't know how to do that there's plenty here that can walk you though the procedure.
I'm not sure it's natural toning - kinda looks like somebody put them over a high heat source just to mark them. We used to do that years ago to mark coins to spend them and see if we ever got them back in change!
OH NO - for the first learning experience - UNCIRCULATED rolls are like UNSEARCHED rolls on Ebay - you got people out there that put rolls of coins together and for 300$ you can buy an end roll crimping machine to make any self filled roll looking like bank rolled. So don't believe the "BANK ROLLED ROLL" or "UNSEARCHED ROLL" - Just trying to help you out. If you want more info on that topic then post a thread under coin talk forum for help!!! It's hard to find a trustful seller of any kind of rolls on Ebay
Just for the heck of it - can you send the auction page? Easy to tell from there if it's a legit seller.
I just thought you said they were from a roll you bought from Ebay?? "well they came out of a uncirculated 1969 roll i bought on ebay" Seems somebody is trying to pull a fast one!!
