I found this wierd looking silver dime and I wanted to know if it is a misprint or just post mint damage
possible, slightly, a fake. which is good, since it is probably worth more as a fake-- contemporary that is or else a water, metal detecting coin
I'm going acid/oil bath. I have some junk silver that look just like this i found in an old box of oils and other liquids with metals parts for cars and such
One more question. I found this dime it looks like it might be a misprint but is it??? Ps. Look under the M in dime
When talking about coins, it would be considered a miss-strike due to the fact coins are struck with 2 dies. The blank coin appears to be a blank planchet and is worth anywhere from $1-$5. The dime could be a CUD error but from that photo i can not say for certainty. If it is a cud, you looking at another few bucks. Keep up the hunt!
