Hey guys I have a 1980 Roosevelt Dime that is in very fine condition and the Obverse looks great and "IGWT" it has God,We,trust looks faded away but dd it doesn't look like the die is deteriorated but I'm not even close to being an expert at all. The entire coin basically looks doubled to me from all the lettering to the date and the entire face and body freatures like the nose mouth and chin . Also a great revere entirely shows DD but I may be wrong and it's just Mechanical like a lot are found. Regardless I feel it's a good find

The "meteor shower" you see emanating outward toward the rim is die deterioration. The doubling you see is machine doubling. Everything else is circulation wear.
