    Post Mint Damage ! some one put one cent on top of the other and squeezed them tighter !

    Like Frank said, it's PMD. The giveaway is that the lettering is backwards which suggests that someone used a vise or hammer to impress one coin into another.

    agreed, looks like they had your coin between another 1956 and a 1957d and squeezed them together..
