Hello! I'm new to this site. I inherited some coins a while back from my Grandfather. I have a 1945 half dollar that I'm curious about. Can someone tell me the worth of it? I think it's called Walking Liberty. Thanks!

If its in common condition, its simply worth melt value, a little over $6 today. However, a coins value is always predicated on condition, so we would need to see a picture of it ma'am.

Welcome to cointalk! A picture would be needed to determine value.

    Welcome!

Also, someone would have eventually mentioned this:

Do not, under any circumstances, clean/polish the coins you inherited to make them look better. :)

First, welcome to the neighborhood, Lisa!

I have to add that if you attempt to clean your coins, you will receive 100 lashes with an al dente spaghetti noodle.
