1969s pmd or ddo?

    It's not DDO-001, that has a huge spread. You would have to check the other die markers here http://doubleddie.com/314201.html to see if it fits DDO-002. 002 isn't so much about thickness as remnants of the 9 and 6. I don't see the signs on the 6, but the 9 is kind of close, but I think it's more likely hits/damage on the date.

    I don't care about that coin. Sometimes I just post stuff because I know it will drive some people around here crazy... LOL This week I finally found a real legit DDO. I had found a couple of minor 1970's and some 2009 but the other day I found a 1984D die #2. The TR of trust are my Avatar to your left. It still has the separation lines on both T's of trust which means EDS. Ever since I saw the pics of it at Variety Vista I wanted one. I am soaking it in oil to get the rest of the crud off but I am one happy camper.

    Tom, issue is whether it's strike doubling or DDO, not PMD or DDO. It's strike doubling. I save the dramatic ones, as they're like learning tools.
