Here are some recent buys from my LCS that I thought were particularly interesting.

Also these. Notable here, if the Chinese coin is authentic it's a good find. I've ID'd it as 1926 Kangsa 50 cash. Also the 1932 Cuba 20 centavos is a key date.

 

Wow! What a complex 3-Mark (1913) designed coin. Almost makes me want to collect foreign crowns again.

Neat Hawaiian dime.

 

I've always wanted one and was surprised to find it there. I'm not sure how much he charged me but I don't think it was a lot, and I wonder if he realized what it was. I hope it's real. The date seems odd but I don't know why you'd fake it and then beat it up so much.

 

I have always hoped to just come a cross a few to buy for the right price. I would be in the same position as you. IN research mode.
