    Here are some recent buys from my LCS that I thought were particularly interesting. 1815 strasbourg 1 decime.jpg 1835 hungary 20 krajczar.jpg 1875 russia 5 kopeks.jpg 1883 hawaii 10 cents.jpg 1889 italy 50 centesimi.jpg 1893 uruguay 20 centesimos.jpg 1898 guatemala 2 reales.jpg 1911 wurttenburg 3 mark.jpg 1913 prussia 3 mark.jpg

    Also these. Notable here, if the Chinese coin is authentic it's a good find. I've ID'd it as 1926 Kangsa 50 cash. Also the 1932 Cuba 20 centavos is a key date. 1915 cuba 40 centavos.jpg 1916 cuba 40 centavos.jpg 1924 russia 3 kopeks.jpg 1926 kangsa china 50 cash.jpg 1927 italy 10 lire.jpg 1932 cuba 20 centavos.jpg 1939 ireland half crown.jpg 1947 portuguese india 1 tanga.jpg 1951 canada big nickel.jpg 1958 belgium 50 francs.jpg

Wow! What a complex 3-Mark (1913) designed coin. Almost makes me want to collect foreign crowns again.

I've always wanted one and was surprised to find it there. I'm not sure how much he charged me but I don't think it was a lot, and I wonder if he realized what it was. I hope it's real. The date seems odd but I don't know why you'd fake it and then beat it up so much.

I have always hoped to just come a cross a few to buy for the right price. I would be in the same position as you. IN research mode.

What can you tell me about that awful copy of a 1951 Canadian commemorative nickel?

It's about the size of a dollar and is from a museum in Sudbury, Canada that has a 30-foot version outside of it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Nickel

Here's "the big nickel" next to the real one. PXL_20230222_204834709.jpg
