So I have two Gold Buffalos that are both graded MS-70 from PCGS...2012 and 2015. However they have no mint mark. I called the U.S. Mint and they said they consider that counterfeit. PCGS says that the coins are real. So what gives? Any help would be appreciated.

"Gold bullion coins" have no mint marks. Most all are coined at West Point mint.Others such as proofs and unc. Issues Have mint marks.

That's what I thought. However, the lady at the mint said otherwise, so I just wanted to confirm.

What it looks like is ones minted just for bullion have no mintmark while those that are minted for collectors have a W right above the date. Confusing.

No, seriously - just like ASE - bullion coins have no mintmark as collectible variations are stamped with the W - then they can charge a premium!

Yeah that's what I thought all along. I tried explaining to this lady what I was asking her. However, she was as helpful as my wall. I appreciate the confirmation.

Another (the same?) helpful woman manning the phones at the US Mint told one of my customers today that the 2015 Silver Eagles were not going to be released until April.
    Huh.
