ND86 posted the info. So far, everything the man has said has turned out to be true. Works for me ;)

    That's for sure.
ND has about the most accurate info you can get from anyone on Mint issues. Much more so than any Mint personnel you will get on the phone.

    He could tell you but......[IMG]

I've answered that before - he's the only guy I know with a working crystal ball :D

Well OK, we'll see one way or the other soon I guess. Still, no offense to ND86 or anything, but without knowing where the information is coming from I have no idea whether ND86 is, or has access to, an actual authoritative source of information, or is just an extremely lucky guesser. I'd much prefer an actual press release from the Mint or the words of an actual Mint employee (who is in high enough of a position to know such things) than just an "ND86 said so" argument, when I have no idea what his credentials or sources of information are. Someone can be right 999,999 times in a row and still be wrong the millionth time, a track record isn't by itself proof of anything but probability. He may very well be right, and I'm even willing to concede that he probably is, given his track record, but until I see proof that his is definitely right, I won't concede that I'm definitely wrong. Especially when I have the word from people whose enitre job is to know what coins are for sale and when that the sets won't contain the presidential dollars (they may very well be mistaken of course, but I'd rather rely on the word of someone whose credentials I know that of somebody whose real name I don't even know. Again, no offense to ND86.)

Anyway likely to be a moot point in about two months time or so anyway, lol...

IMHO people whose entire jobs are about coins wont know what happenes at the mint they just talk about coins and if its their job they dont do it properly. If ND86 says something then thats it no if's or but's for me. It is tomorrow being told to us today again its my opinion and people dont have to agree with it. I say its an honor and a privelege to get advice from ND86. He has always helped people in times of need and if ND86 wishes to remain unknown then we should respect his privacy again no offense to anyone but i belong to the ND86 said so club. way to go ND86 keep the advice coming :D

Yea, I'm with that.... I would not mind knowing, but I will repect his wishes and privacy if he wants his identity and souce of insight kept unknown... Fine with me as long as he keeps comming around and doing what he does...

Well no offense to ND86, but I just don't believe in appeal to an unknown authority. I'll be the first to freely admit to being wrong if and when it's proven I am, but until then I'll hold my reservations. I appreciate ND86's advice as much as anyone else here, but I'm not going to treat it as gospel without knowing what his source of information is. I'll just leave it at that... again no offense to ND86, but I'm not going to join the "ND86 said so" club unless and until I find out where he gets his info... a perfect or near perfect track record isn't good enough for me; I hold all information anyone gives me to the same standard; unless it comes from as known reliable source I still consider it to be purely speculative.

That information is like top secret as of today. I was at the Mint today talked to contacts and could not squeeze any real date except SPRING out of some of the reg employees I know there. By the time we get the the date it will be posted on the mint web site.:headbang:

As long as Ive been a member here ND86 has been 100% correct, 100% of the time, who really cares who his source is. He's always been very generous with his information about whats going on at the mint as far as release dates and so on. So be thankful theres someone willing to share the information they know, he doesnt have to do it, but he does because he knows we help each other in here. Thats all that matters to me.

Thanks ND86 for the info. I ordered a set through the mints subscription program and now have a better idea when they'll be coming out other than the generic time frame the mints web site gives us. I for one, always look forward to your posts.
