can someone help with this nickel

I got this a few weeks ago but can't find anything about it

Run over by a tractor, then dipped in acid.......

 

Looks like someone soaked it in acid for a while...science experiment maybe

 

Looks like a cast copy or salt water damage

 

Came out of the ground and was cleaned or dipped in acid as Ken mentioned - that's my guess.

 

It weighs about 4 grams so maybe acid that sucks

 

Def not a legit error. PMD.

Now that looks interesting, but I think closer and clearer pics may be needed. Someone who knows LMC errors will chime in, maybe they'll know. You might want to check coppercoins.Com, http://www.lincolncentresource.com, and maybe varietyvista.com, all good resources for error lincolns.

Looks like a legit rpm to me... there are a quite a few for that date.. probably worth $20 or so
