    Doug - 92? :)

Nice die clash on the cent - I think the cent might have gone a little higher than 63 and agree Genuine 62

Yep, 92 - cleaned, maybe whizzed

The 3 cent is pretty amazing- 64?

Totally out of my field of expertise, but they both look fabulous. :)

Does the 3cs have die polish lines on the reverse? I'm confused because they are linear and not circular. Can someone explain this to me please?

The lines in between the Roman numerals are a die clash of the obverse shield.

Die clash - those lines are from the shield from the opposite die

Beat me to it John - LOL

And now that I understand that 92 = cleaning I would agree with that as well. I just assume that most have been cleaned so I didn't even give that much consideration. But when it comes to the TPG grade I guess I should have.

AU-58 for the Trade dollar and 64 for that beautiful 3 cent piece .

I'm with Rusty on the grades. Love those clashes on the trime, and the color, what a great specimen!

I'm at 45 on the Trade dollar but don't feel it got a straight grade.

I just don't see enough wear to bring that Trade down to a 53 , maybe an old dipping lowered it . But that 3 cent piece is sweet !!!

Both are beautiful coins. The nicks on the obverse is what was used to justify AU 53, along with a rub on the left wing of the eagle. I think it was conservatively graded. The 3 cent is beautiful as well.

i would agree that the trade has been dipped from the petina still around the stars on the obv. but i wouldnt say there are nicks but bag marks. i think it would grade higher than au-53. asx for the 3 cent piece its awesome looking but the die clash isn't anything uncommon for 3 cent pieces because thier planchets were so thin. ive seen a lot of die clashes on the 3 cent silvers. nice looking coins all together!
