quick question about CAC. If by certifying a coin via TPG what advantage/value increase does CAC add to the coin if its already a accepted commodity(through certification)? Is it more of a consumer comfort as there are now fake encapsulations? Most of the collectors/ dealers around my area think CAC is just a way to get more money out of the industry. Im not tryingto say that CAC is a badthing i just want to know what official purpose is?

To sum it up they bring a little higher of premium because CAC ether confirms the grade OR say's it a higher grade than originally graded & that's nice to know !

No there are a fair number of errors in the order on that site For example all of his PCGS 4's come before his PCGS 3, his PCGS 5.3 and 5.4 are from a completely different generation slab than the rest of his PCGS 5's, his PCGS 6 and 6.1 are from the same generation as his PCGS 5's. His PCGS 6.2, 6.2 and 6.4 are from the same generation as the 5.3 and 5.4. His 7,8's and 9 are from the same slab generation as most of his PCGS 5's.

Kameron numbeds his sample slabs pretty much in the order he found them and to some extent he tried to group them based on some similarity, but they are not grouped together based on the generations of the slab in the order that PCGS made them.

The link wcoins posted is much closer to the actual order in which the generations of PCGS slabs were issued.

Basically what CAC is is just yet another outside opinion as to the accuracy of the grade. The TPG has looked at the coin, and then CAC looks at it and says "Yes I think they got it right" (green bean), "I think it should upgrade to the next grade up" (Gold bean), or "at best it might make that grade on a good day, it might even be overgraded" (no bean). Since nobody trusts their own grading ability anymore (hence the TPGs) They now want someone else to pass judgement on what the TPG's say. Eventually they will want someone to second guess CAC as well.

91-cc a better date. Is a fair price depending on how good the eye appeal is

The holder and insert combination for your coin was introduced approximately January, 1990 and discontinued by December, 1994.
