    I have seen resellers selling gold plated state quarters. I think I even found one in circulation that had most of the gold worn off of it. I would expect to see a more golden color on yours if it were one of the plated ones, especially since it still looks uncirculated.

    Just toning ive seen plenty of those Franklin mint gold plated SQ and, unless its heavily circulated , the plating would be even on the devices and fields. from the pictures it seems that the coloration isnt proportionate in certain areas. if ou have a complete FM SQ Gold Plated set it sells online for anywhere from $100-150 depending on buer and what not.

    Well I got from vending machine. It was UNC now it's not. Haha. Idk seemed to catch my eye and been getting a lot of these lately and in circulation. But u save them. Do you think they hold any value other than tone

    I have a gold plated wheatie. It's not gold plated at all I'm going with tone. I don't do this as good as u all I didn't know if the finish was holding up the tone or what
