Toned 1990D lincoln with doubling

    I found this roll hunting. I was attracted by the great color. I was checking out the date and just thinking MD. Then I zoomed in on the bowtie and noticed the splits at the corners of the bowtie.... wow 1990dobv.jpg

    Looks like a good MD looks like it slid NW but I am assuming you are looking threw a microscope with a led light with a surrounding light source witch I noticed with mine it give weird reflection witch it makes it look kinda like doubling

    I don't own a red light. I usually close the blinds so the only light comes from the microscope. I also have a little filter I made to cut the glare. The bowtie doesn't go away when l move the scope.

    Post a link of were you got the photo. But I see what you are talking about and it looks very similar but I know the date is not a doubled die.

    I'm not claiming I have the coin in the pics. I assumed md on the date which I still believe it is. It's only when I zoomed in on the tie that I noticed the doubling, and when I compared pics I noticed the doubling on the vest.
