Not the condition, Jack, but the general characteristics of it. It's very similar to the "look" of more contemporary pieces. I've seen many like this from that period. Bruce
BRandM...Bruce,According to Q.David Bowers the Washington is Patriotic die 110/442...R-1 But in that con.It value's $75.00 concidering it's MS63 or better.The"store card" OH 535 A,Store card die 1084-85.Valued a little higher,But i'm sure you noticed the "cud" at 1:00 obverse.All 3 for under $40.00! Yes i love the 1/2 dime,As long as it's ledgible enough to know it's American! Thank's
Jello's token is most definitly from the late 19th.C to the early 20th.I found a E.W. bader in ST.Louis who ran a bar but NO token,I use the picture here to compare ONLY and agree with all who say it is a tavern token/cigar store! I found NO such shape for Alabama or Tenn.Nice token jello!!!
I did notice the cud and like it. I think these things...cuds, shattered dies, off center strikes, etc...give a coin or token a distinctive look. Makes them stand out from others. Bruce
I'm so glad I found this forum because I enjoy collecting medals and tokens. Here's some medals from our first moon landing, Apollo missions. Steve
These medals I really enjoy but I don't know a much about them. I posted them in world coins forum but I believe this should be their home. Any input would be much appreciated. Steve
Nice 1822 French medal! I'm not sure where I seen a French coins and medal thread or was it a Dutch thread.? ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Any additional information or correction to be made about the medal would be much appreciated. Thank you, Steve
