Jello, I like the color on the graded one (VF)better. The raw one the color seems off, maybe cleaned.
jello => I'm also a fan of the dark-brown chocolate lookin' coin (they're both quite nice and it's always difficult to determine the winner from a photo, but Number #1 gives me a better overall feeling than the lighter coloured example) cheers
jello => I found this example (however, I'm not saying it is any better or worse than your two examples ... I merely went searching after I read your post) http://www.ebay.com/itm/1858-Canada-Canadian-Large-Cent-First-Year-Minted-/301512912190
I am retired so I will go buy one after I wake up from my nap. Serious note I do no not have any gold coins. Someday but I love the silver. Cool picture.
=> well, I didn't buy that gold-example ... ummm, but I did sneak-in this lil' gold-baby (sorry, I can't resist this series) yah ... I'm weak (*sigh*)
Oh, and my "slight" OCD is making me post all of my sweet lil' gold examples ... enjoy the coolness!! => hey, don't judge me
