I've been selling coins on ebay for a while now. Mostly modern coins which are already still in OGP, modern mint sets in OGP, and from time to time nicer modern coins that I don't need or have upgraded. I do this to make money for my own collection. Plus I learn a ton from it... Anyhoo...I want to figure out how to shave time off of the actual listing creation...I use Ebay Turbo Lister, which has worked great except for one area...photos. I can prepare all my new items in a csv files, then import into TurboLister and voila all my listings are ready to upload to ebay...its a significant time saver over creating a new listing for each item from the ebay website. However, I still have to go through each item in TurboLister one by one and add the pictures to the listing...this can take 1-2 minutes per item, mostly due to the horrible performance of TurboLoader (its just kludgy). When your listing 50 to 175 items this can be a significant time investment. One thing I've figured out is that I can host the photos on my Google Picasa account, put the URLs in a specific column in my csv file, import, upload and done. I thought this was my key, but I just figured out that if I go in and edit that item, after importing in to TurboLister, when I click on save, it doesn't like the URLs, tells me the URLs are invalid and will not let me save the edits I've made. These edits can be with the price of the item or the length of the auction, not necessarily with the photos. Whatever you change, when you try to save it TurboLister attempts to verify the entire listing and find errors and pukes at the photo's URLs. All this to ask, is anyone else out there doing this? What tools are you using. Right now, I'm not selling enough to have a store account, or spend extra money per month on a third party listing tools. How do you upload multiple items and upload their pics in the quickest way possible.
How do I find you on eBay I like to buy common coins especially singles in mint cello. They aren't worth much but I figure when the grand babies get older they will be nice enough coins for them look at and but in albums or loose without me going broke in the meantime.
