    Is this closer? If your camera allows, it is a good idea to use manual white balance and manual exposure controls so both sides are taken in the same settings. Postprocessing can help but it is better to get as close as possible before you start.

    Outstanding coin John and the image by DS shows how good the coin really is.

    I wanted to retake the image of the coin before i commented. the color of the reverse is what the coin really looks like, the higher relief picks up more light on the obverse. so i'll try again...

    still didn't get the color right, very dark and rainy day here..the reverse is the true color, need to learn to use my new camera.
