1920 Pilgrim Half Dollar - What do you think the grade is?

    I'm not thrilled with your pictures but based upon the appearance I would say at least MS-64 and possibly -65.

    Yeah, too much flash though not the pics I took.

    I'm using a different one below as a baseline. I know this may be frowned upon since grading is subjective, but I'm still trying to get a better grasp at self-grading (e.g. the bottom pic of a different coin looks like the coin is cleaned where the words are on the obverse, yet it apparently isn't).

    It has far too much light on it, but it appears to not have original skin.

    I can't really tell since there is so much light on the piece, but that odd blue color on the rim in a few places on the bottom of the obverse is very unusual and sometimes seen on coins that have been manipulated.

    Too bad the auction ended, not sure if there's a point in asking the seller.
