    old pfennig coins from the German Empire I picked up from my local coin shop for 25 cents each, the first one after looking it up goes for at least $10 so I think it was a good day lol.

    Sounds like the owner didn't have (or take) the time to catalog that material.

    I would have to agree with you they were in a chest with other foreign coins but nothing els that old
