Should This Have A Details Grade #2?

Bought this 1909 S Lincoln cent for pretty cheap last week. It has a nice green spot on the back. It is in a new PCGS slab so it is either newly graded or recently reslabbed. I guess they figured it wasn't corrosive either way. Do you think it should have a details grade instead of a clean grade? Let me know if you need closer pics.

I'd invite PCGS to buy it back. Then again, I'm not seeing it in-hand, and I'm not especially good at this.

That looks like active verdi to me, but why should pcgs care since their guarantee doesn't cover stuff like that.

If I crack it out and treat with Verdi Care, would it get a cleaning details slab if I resubmitted? It may anyways with that big green spot...

Maybe. But you will never know either way unless you actually do it and then resubmit the coin. But since it is a maybe, that's pretty risky.

That said it is not uncommon for PCGS or NGC to cleanly grade coins like this.

I would not buy a coin like that in that holder.
