Another coin of George the III for me. The size and value of this coin fascinates me. The gold Guinea was valued at 21 shillings for most of its history, which is 1 pound plus 1 shilling. Here is a 1/3 Guinea, valued at 7 shillings. Size: 16.8 mm x 0.8 mm Weight: 2.8 gram Fineness: 0.917 I believe it to be genuine based on the look and specs. Looks like it was probably cleaned a long time ago and had some "grunge" around some of the lettering and devices. Not a ton of wear, but I wouldn't hazard a guess as to actual condition. Rob
