I know the adage buy the book then the coin, but I really haven't followed that since I mainly buy moderns and things that catch my eye. I know that's no excuse so I am asking advice as to what books I might need. I collect Jefferson Nickels. I'm going to start collecting Roosevelt Dimes and Franklin Halves for Dansco albums. I also have interest in Mercury Dimes, Ikes, Buffaloes, well you get the idea I'm all over the place. My main interest are the Jeffs and that's the first book I'd like, although I find it hard to believe I could learn more about them than what I have here at CT from the great Nickel collectors that post such informative information. Oh I also love Lincolns and Indians as well and have thousands of them as well. I enjoy learning about coins as much as collecting or hoarding or whatever it is I do. Your input would be greatly appreciated and access to used copies would be great if you no a resource for such. CWT's are something I dabble with as well. Again I appreciate all the great information I get here.
For Jefferson Nickels you need: A Guide Book of Buffalo & Jefferson Nickels, by Q David Bowers The Jefferson Nickel Analyst, Bernard Nagengast
