I owned a crappy Maserati at one point, but have never owned a Gobrecht S$1.

 

I own a hotwheel's toy Maserati... does that count lol.

I have got to see in hand a couple of them. But both were between 20K and 40k - a little out of my league.

 

I can not even afford a Morgan dollar above MS-63 (MS-64 depending on where I buy it) and you expect me to own a coin worth $30,000!... Well you are correct, I have three!!!

I don't own a fancy car and never have. Heck, I can't even begin to tell you all the miles I put on my '72 Nova. However, I own a Gobrecht dollar-

I miss my 72 Cutlas 442. Wife got it in the divorce; I'm not bitter at all

 

Never owned one. Had one in hand last month tho was pr vg details improperly cleaned. Think was like $8500. Is high on my want list. My checkbook don't agree

In college (late 1970's - early 1980's) there was a guy who had a '72 Nova. You know how dealers will often have a frame that names their dealership that goes around the rear license plate? The Nova owner I know got a personalized plate saying "72JUNK" and kept the dealer's frame. The dealer got so upset by this that he offered to buy the license plate from the owner. It was good money for the late '70's too. The owner did not sell.
