what would this be graded. The seller and I thought different grades, mine of course was lower due to the reverse of the coin. The front looks good but the left reverse looks either weakly struck or well worn.

    What do you think?

Also the Coins magazine has reverse 1&2, does anyone know what variety this is?

Type 2 reverse. They used to call this one the shattered die reverse. Not sure if they still use that term.

I think I'm wrong. The shattered die should be showing weakness lower in the wreath. There is a site that has the answer but I can't find it anymore.

I'd call it f-15 maybe vf 20. A little concerned about the obverse I can't tell if those scratches are all from circulation or mishandling or the obverse was wiped years ago

    20o+10r / 2 = f-15 for me

yup, I had said the back looks VG and the front looks VF, so we met in the middle. Although this is the worst looking one of the CC dimes I bought, it's the most scarce.
