It has a mint it is Philadelphia they don't put a P on there cents. If that's what your asking

 

No what about the ear

 

Some circulated 1984. have double ears

 

1984 - no mint mark. Check for a double-ear! A double-die most noticeable on Lincoln's ear - it looks like he has two ears mixed together on the side of his head! Very famous. Considerably valuable, depending on how much the flaw stands out.

 

The only way for us to help you is if you don't show us a picture of the ear.

 

It would be correctly called a doubled die or a DDO for short. If the doubling was on the reverse, it could be called a DDR.

Snarky sarcasm is a great teaching tool, unless your student is a dog. They don't have the sarcasm gene - just a confused head tilt.
