1943S DDO?

    Here is only a couple pics of 1943S possible DDO before I take more pics what do you think? Before you ask yes there is more doubling on the obverse some look like triple doubling...hard to get the right angle of it

    Your coin was replated at some point and that is what you are seeing.

    Definitely was not replated

    Post a photo of the edge. A replated coin will have an edge like the obv/rev. An original with no replating will have the steel core showing on the center of the edge as they were punched from plated steel, and only the surfaces were zinc.

    It sure looks that way in the photo you posted. It appears to have been circulated after the replating though. No original unc steel cent has that shiny chrome look that shows in your photo, but maybe it's just the lighting.
