But I did buy the 2013 (W) & 2012 (S) proof/reverse/enhanced proof silver eagle sets for $230 for both sets in the box package & with c.o.a.. At my local coin shop & I think that's a good deal !
New pickup 1836 B-1 (e) penultimate die state In this late die state, the main crack goes from the rim at S7 straight through to the date, completely bisecting the coin, with several other minor cracks joining it. I love the look from the completely shattered obverse die and the resulting extremely weak strike of the eagles head, neck, and surrounding area.
Paid a little over $15 a piece for these, which I thought was a good deal. Two of the nickels are nicely toned; a 1962 and a 1963. I'll get pics of them individually soon.
Another roman egypt tetradrachm. Love these thick things. Gordian III ( 238 - 244 A.D.) EGYPT ALEXANDRIA Billon Tetradrachm O: A K M AN GORDIANOC EVC, laureate, draped & cuirassed bust right. Nice ! I just bought a Jefferson nickles collection (394 total coins ) for $45 . But nothing that looks like that !
I didn't even think about that til you pointed it out. In hand isn't different must be this cell phone camera shadowed or lighting. But your right.
Well I just made the purchase of my newest acquisition. I wanted a Dansco for Roosevelt dimes to put together a Gem BU and proof only set so I purchased one eBay $33, now I know that's a little high for an album but it came with 117 different BU and Proof issues. The way I figure it I got my album for $21.30 about the going price I reckon and all the dimes at face, I think that's a good deal. Oh no Silver but still a good deal.
You had better hide from the police because you stole them. The half dollars alone are worth as much as you paid for the whole sets. Good buy.
I thought part of the fun of filling an album is being able to pick/choose each coin to your satisfaction. I understand the album came with 117 coins in it, so are you planning on looking for varieties? Part of me understands why you bought the album and part of me doesn't. Either way, enjoy your latest purchase.
