If you're going to Long Beach, visit James Sego (JMS Coins). He's the industry go-to-guy for Ikes and a good guy to deal with. If you tell him I sent you, he won't even charge extra.
A) 1972-P Type 2 MS 64 B) 1976-P Type 1 MS 65 C) 1971-P MS-65 D) 1971-S Silver MS-67 E) 1971-D "Friendly Eagle" MS-66
The '71-D is a good choice. You might consider a '76-P type I if you can find the right one. Usually I suggest peoiple buy good strikes from new dies but wirth this coin just find anything that's clean and doesn't have planchet markings. These are tough in any grade with clean surfaces. The only drawback is that the right specimen will be hard to find at a good price.
Any P or D in MS65/66 has potential. The 1971P, '72PTI & T III, '76P TI, are more pricey from $75- 350. I would get a 1971 "Friendly Eagle Varietly" in MS65. And get a 1973S Silver Ike.
