That is correct, these were issued as sheets and then cut later to look like errors.

That said - please keep this thread on the OP topic. If you want to talk about your own errors, please start your own thread.

    Thanks

Just curious. Do you mean per example or per visible portion of each partial bill? Also, did the star note cost more? You can PM if the moderator feels this is off topic.

They were cool to see, fake or not. Three dollars is not a huge sum. They look like someone cut a sheet of two dollar bill they could buy from the BEP to look like errors. Still, they look awesome! I would not call them fake, I would call them "fantasy notes"

I wouldn't mind having those for $3. Buying a sheet and cutting it would cost more than $3/note.

I got excited about the 1953 $2 with the missing seal/serial numbers. But if you look closely, you can see abrasions over the word TWO where the seal belongs.

    Oh well. $3 a piece ain't bad.

I agree, not bad at all. I would buy them and put them in a frame and hang them on a wall as a conversation piece.

Please! An MS 1893-S is worth $150,000 at minimum. If it's MS65 and up, more like $300,000+.

I am asking lol, that coin would be worth almost as much as my house!! :wideyed:

Now I want to show off my "unworthy" common date Morgans just for fun. This thread got really off topic!
I'm really proud of the photo, I took the photo and edited it by hand to make it completely cropped, a good hour worth of work. I did the same with my avatar, a common-date Mercury dime.

Just on an online photo editing program

I'm drooling over that beauty:wideyed:!! 1893 Morgans of any mint are never seen but an "s" in great shape is incredible. You are lucky to own such a nice coin.
