Hello guys, I decided to do some searching on Ebay to find the best/funniest "unsearched" rolls on Ebay.
I know most of these rolls are pretty crazy, with barbers on one end and a merc on the other, but I tried to find the most extreme examples.

Here is one general thought about these auctions. If the seller never searched them how does he know they are all wheat pennies?? Also, How come many auctions do not even have a single wheat penny on the end, just silver dimes and rare indians, and they are still advertised as "Un-searched Wheat Pennies"??

"Mysterious potential key-dates coins", such as a wheat penny with a "VDB" reverse showing, and the seller saying it is a "1909s VDB???" when is a just regular 1909p VDB worth $7.

Repeated unlikely end coins, such as key dates and valuable coins, all sold by the same seller, this seller has many many rolls and almost all of them conveniently have a capped bust dime on the end and an Indian head on the other end. Very unlikely.

This kind of goes with the listings above, Have you ever noticed that a big amount of the listing of un-searched rolls have Civil War tokens on the ends? Let's say that these were in theory rolled in 1958, what are the chances of a 150 year old TOKEN - NOT EVEN A COIN! - conveniently being on the end of a roll of cents. Funny thing is, most of the are all sold by one seller.

    Here is another funny listing,
This seller is sold more than one roll of wheat pennies with a silver coin on one end and an 1877 Indian on the other side!!! What are the chances of an 1877 Indian in great condition being in a roll wheat pennies with a silver coin on the other end. One listing even has the rolls crudely taped together with scotch tape!!! Plus that is not the only listing like that!

Here is my favorite kind of listings. These listing take wrong denomination end coin to the extreme. First off, back then 10 cents was quite a bit of money so it is unlikely that someone would pass it off as a penny, but the listing you are about to see are unreal.

This is my favorite, a 1 dollar gold coin right on the end of a wheat penny roll, it is so tiny it looks like it will fall right off! Chances are the that the gold coin will not even still be at the end of the roll when it gets shipped and it when fall off and be loose in the package.

Another funny example: A modern gold Krugerand on the end of a 1950's roll of coins, unless whoever rolled it 60 years ago went to the future and grabbed a Krugerand and decided to be an idiot and spend it as a penny, that listing is impossible.

Oh yeah, There is another Civil War token on the end, just like I mentioned before.
The last one of wrong denomination:

The last thing I want to talk about are the completely crazy stories on how the seller got the coins and that he has no clue whatsoever about coins, here is one of them,

"I PURCHASED THESE ROLLS FROM AN ESTATE IN VIRGINIA. THE ELDERLY LADY WAS A BANK MANAGER AND SHE WAS A SERIOUS COIN COLLECTOR ALL THRU HER LIFE!! I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONDITION OR CLEANING OF THESE AS I HAVE NOT SEEN THE INSIDE COINS. THESE ROLLS WILL BE A GOOD MIX OF MINT MARKS WHEAT CENTS ALL OLD COINS. I OPENED A FEW AND FOUND OLD INDIANS, WHEAT AND FLYING EAGLES ALSO A TOKEN OR TWO. PLEASE LEAVE ME 5 STAR FEEDBACK AND TELL ME WHAT YOU GET. I WILL BE GREATLY INTERESTED!! THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR LOOKING AT MY COINS AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS!!!!"

I can guarantee that these rolls of Wheaties have not been searched. They have been in my family for 80+ years. First, my grandfather assembled them before he went to prison for counterfeiting. Then, they were passed along to my father before he went to prison for breaking my grandfather out of prison. After my grandpa and pop died in prison, they were passed along to my mom. Mom, bless her heart, is a clean-freak so she soaked all of the rolls in Clorox for a month. The wrappers turned color from red to light brown. After Mom died, I inherited all of the rolls, but I had to replace the wrappers. I swear that I did not search them. All I did was put them in chronological order.

LOL, That fictional family is messed up. That guy must be physic for putting them in order without knowing what they are. Considering half of the coins would be counterfeit and the rest destroyed because they are covered in Clorox I think I will jump right on that listing!!!

There is no need to worry. My kid sister sold all of them to Doug.

    Question:

How do these idiots have 100% positive feedback?

    Are all these buyers idiots?

Be careful, Frank! There are some sellers and buyers on here who might take offense to your remark.

Well, then, if they are here, they should know better than to bid/buy this junk.

And, if they are here they are not reading and posts.

And apparently, if they are still here, they learned nothing!

In either case, they are still idiots.

And if they buy this stuff they probably can't read anyway, so they will not take offense.

And if they do take offense, tough.

Just calling it as I see it.

    :bag::arghh:

You've got to be careful not to go into too much detail. Now, they'll tell you to get glasses.

Some folks have absolutely no qualms about publishing an outright lie if they think they can score a windfall. These people are thieves, crooks, and are no better than some bum breaking into your house to rob you.
